Store Clerk Arrested For Fatally Shooting A Black 17-Year-Old In The Back Over A Beer | National News

A Black teen in Memphis was fatally shot from behind by a 28-year-old retailer clerk after being accused of stealing a beer.

Anwar Ghazali is charged with first-degree homicide within the capturing demise of Dorian Harris, 17, reported WREG.

Based on the arrest affidavit, Ghazali, who works on the High Cease Store, chased Harris after he left the shop on Thursday with out paying for a beer. Ghazali pulled out a gun throughout his pursuit and shot Harris from behind.

A witness informed police Ghazali walked again into the shop after the capturing and mentioned, “I feel I shot him,” in response to courtroom paperwork.

Though he knew he shot the teenager, Ghazali by no means known as police.

Two days later, Memphis resident Sarah Patton discovered Harris’ physique mendacity subsequent to her residence, reported the Industrial Enchantment.
